How to play & tips for grown-ups
The mission: solve six facts in each of three sectors. Aim at the correct asteroid and fire to free a robot friend. Then power the three home beacons and steer to the center to dock.
Controls: use left/right arrows or A/D to steer and Space to fire. Tap an answer to aim and fire, or use 1, 2, and 3. The large arrow and FIRE buttons work on phones and tablets. Escape pauses; switching away pauses too.
Your pace: answers never time out. Arcade flight adds small drifting rocks to dodge; calm practice removes them. A bump costs a shield, not a math answer. Repairing keeps every rescue. Hints explain a strategy, and an incorrect answer stays correctable.
Think addition to subtract: subtraction hints pair a missing-addend fact with two groups of counters. Start with the known part and count on to the total; the missing part completes both equations.
Scoring: a rescue earns 100 points on the first try without a hint, 60 after a hint, or 40 after a retry. Crystals add 10, and the home gate adds 150. The results show first-try math separately from arcade points. Sound is optional; progress lasts for this session.
